Consistent polynomial expansions of the stored energy function for incompressible hyperelastic materials

In this article, hyperelastic material models that state consistent polynomial expansions of the stored energy function are discussed. The approach follows from multiplicative decomposition deformation gradient. Some advantages third-order expansion model over five-parameter Rivlin using Treloar’s experimental data shown. qualitatively and quantitatively compared to highlight these discussed model.
